Hold'em
In hold'em, players receive two downcards as their personal hand (hold cards), after which there is a round of betting. Three board cards are turned up simultaneously (called the "flop") and another round of betting occurs. Then comes the fourth card called the "turn" or "fourth street" and another round of betting occurs. The board cards are community cards, and a player may use any five-card combination from among the board and personal cards. A player may even use all of the board cards and no personal cards to form a hand (called playing the board). The fifth and final board card (called the river card) and a final round of betting occurs. A dealer button is used and there are two forced bets (called the blinds) which are the two players to the left of the "dealer button".
